The Sinatras

(As remembered by Jeff - Can Ron or Amy send in a real one?)
The Sinatras are the beating heart of this whole thing. They are from Battle Creek. When I first saw them in the late eighties/early nineties they were celebrating their 11th anniversary and at the time of this posting (August 15) they had just played a show in Kzoo, which means they've played together in the neighborhood of 25 years. I think the neatest thing about the Sinatras is that everybody not only liked them, but felt an emotional warmth just seeing them.
And EVERYBODY seeme to love the Sinatras. Even those raised on Iron Maiden records and those who wanted BC hardcore and those that wanted the disco electronique. Maybe someone would have confessed under their breath that they didn't like TI, but nobody could say that about the Sinatras. I'm not sure it was allowed.
Karl had a really small bass amp. Ron and Karl both sing.
Scott tears it!

- Ron Casebeer - Guitar and Vocals
- Karl Knack - Bass and Vocals
- Scott Stevens - Drums

From the Leppotone Sampler
- Action Party
- Hope
- Sense
- Underground
- Didn't Wanna

And before that, the same site had one of the most honest "appreciations" of the band ever:
